TEDDY – (Written by Tristan Bernays, Music by Dougal) has announced its first national tour after its award winning run at Southwark Playhouse. The show runs at the Watermill, Newbury from 11th Jan – 10th Feb, then tours before ending at The Vaults, London from 29th March – 5th May. TEDDY won best new musical at the Off – West End awards 2016.
Dougal is writing a musical for Belgrade Theatre.

Dougal is musical director for Curve Theatre’s young peoples/community production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM. Directed by Nick Winston, the production runs at Curve August 10-20th. Tickets HERE.
THE OTHER SCHOOL – (Book/music/lyrics by Dougal Irvine, Book also by Dominic Marsh) is being performed by Nacka Youth Choir in Sweden at 25th -27th APRIL. The show was originally commissioned by NYMT and played The Other Palace in 2013.
THE TWITS (adapted by David Wood, music and songs by Dougal) finishes its UK tour at the ROSE THEATRE, KINGSTON. 4-16th April
ANGRY BIRDS (book/music/lyrics by Dougal) had an industry reading at the Park Theatre, London, presented by Homer Simpson productions. The show is a punk musical about the Suffragettes, set in an allegorical forest ala Animal Farm. We are putting the word out to Youth Theatres across the country to perform the show in 2018 as part of the centenary of the Representation of the People’s act (1918) which allowed women to vote for the first time.
